This one could've been nasty, and it could easily have resulted in a broken arm or worse for Sheamus.

During the main event of 2013's Money In The Bank pay-per-view, Sheamus was sent tumbling from the top rope to the outside by a ladder-wielding Daniel Bryan. This is a spot WWE have worked into such matches countless times before; it makes for a sweet bump when wrestlers crash through a prone ladder to the arena floor.

For some reason, Sheamus decided to try and break the fall with his left arm. Pause the show at precisely the right moment and you can almost see him think, "Oh, crap" as he comes down hard on that limb. The ladder was gimmicked too, so it was actually his hand that broke it, not his body.

Sheamus might've been better taking the full brunt on his back rather than attempting to make the spot less painful. By doing so, and by using his arm to soak up the impact, the Irishman almost left the building on a stretcher.
