7. The Rock's Glasses Fall Off (SmackDown, 1999)

It's difficult to pinpoint exactly when this moment occurred, but Mick Foley has shared his thoughts on it before in one of those old throwback video packages WWE so love. We know it happened in 1999 on an early episode of SmackDown, but we're just not sure of the exact date. The Rock would want us to forget it anyway.

He was in full-flight, delighting fans with a rousing chorus of his tried-and-tested catchphrases. Just as he said, "If You Smell..." and turned to Foley, Rocky's sunglasses came flying off his face and landed awkwardly on the canvas. His reaction was superb. Rock refused to get the glasses himself, meaning Mick had to do the honours. When he did, Rocky gave in to the fun and said, "The Rock thanks you for that". For the most fleeting of moments, the coolest man in wrestling was made to look foolish by his own outfit.
