When WWE booked Ford Field for WrestleMania 23 it knew it needed a blockbuster main event to fill the 80,000-person stadium. Who better to turn to than reality star, and long time associate of Vince McMahon's, Donald Trump?

After all, Trump had previously appeared at three Showcases of the Immortals: IV, V and VII. He was a known supporter of the product and recognized the opportunity to do historic business by attracting the largest crowd for WrestleMania since the iconic event in 1987.

Trump and McMahon came together for The Battle of the Billionaires, a match with a significant wager: the losing billionaire would have his head shaved in front of a worldwide audience. Each man picked a representative. McMahon chose "The Samoan Bulldozer" Umaga and Trump tapped the explosive Bobby Lashley. Overseeing the festivities?

Special referee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Lashley defeated Umaga and McMahon experienced the humiliation of having his head shaved in front of a worldwide audience. The record-setting gate and enormous pay-per-view audience can be attributed to the match and the undeniable (begrudgingly so) star power of The Donald.
