10 WWE Moments You Won't Believe Are 10 Years Old

3. The Great Khali: World Heavyweight Champion

The Great Khali is a former World Heavyweight champion.

Yes, that guy.

The stumbling, bumbling giant whose idea of credible offence were karate-like chops that could not hurt an 80 year-old grandpa, let alone the top Superstars on the WWE roster. Barely able to lumber his way to the squared circle let alone competently perform inside it, Khali was more of an attraction that he ever was a respected in-ring competitor.

In the summer of 2007, though, injuries and a lack of depth on the SmackDown roster left the brand no other choice but to turn to the native of Punjab, India to carry the brand as a transitional champion.

The giant routinely worked with Batista throughout the summer before dropping the title to The Animal at September's Unforgiven pay-per-view. It brought about the end of one of the worst reigns in WWE history, not because of the lack of competition but because of the champion's inability to deliver a performance of the level fans deserve from a world champion.

A decade later, "Great Khali, World Champion" is a title that still does not quite make sense.
