10 WWE Money In The Bank 2020 Impulse Reactions

8. R-Truth Vs. MVP

...didn't happen, but Bobby Lashley battered f*ck out of R-Truth for a minute or so for reasons that weren't even made clear as MVP stepped aside to let it happen.

Truth and Porter had a lousy verbal battle before Lashley came out and took an errant slap in the chops from the former 24/7 Champion. That was all he - and, apparently, the referee - needed to make the match official instead. 'The All Mighty' didn't waste any time.

This all sucked.

The late booking didn't promise an exciting match from the off, but such a needless bait and switch was more infuriating than anything else. So what? To any of this, so what? So what that the original contest didn't go ahead? So what that no reason was given for the new one? So what that R-Truth lost, like a win over him will get Lashley any more over in this marginal rebuild he's been given on Raw.

Money In The Bank didn't fly out the traps with that opener, but it actively stumbled here.
