10 WWE Money In The Bank 2020 Impulse Reactions

7. Bayley (c) Vs. Tamina

A major spike in quality came next thanks to the underrated SmackDown women's division and a programme and match that had absolutely no right to do as well as it has done over the last month or so.

Tamina went from lame duck challenger to credible threat in a matter of weeks thanks to the ever-so-slightly simmering tension between Bayley and Sasha Banks. The heels have exerted their control over the blue brand's female roster despite the title itself destined to be the thing that rips them apart. It was again teased here too - a pre-match promo saw the self-proclaimed 'Role Model' speak on behalf of 'The Boss' before sneaking past the Challenger after vital help from Banks.

This was as brilliant, if a little basic. Bayley was a total piece of sh*t on the advantage to the point where Tamina's revenge felt potent enough to generate a couple of decent title change teases towards the end. It wasn't to be, but the aforementioned angle between the real stars of the league was the stuff worth watching anyway. It's the best story on Friday Nights currently - this was a welcome additional chapter.
