10 WWE Nightmares That Could Come True In 2023

9. And Has Some Awful Guest Entrants

Remember the 2012 Rumble? That 30-man match included such entrants as Michael Cole, Ricardo Rodriguez and Jerry Lawler. Then, Mick Foley and Jim Duggan were wheeled out as surprise legends guesting for a spot or two. Such retro treats are fine, but only if they're wanted by fans and don't eat up too much time.

In 2023, it's entirely possible that Ric Flair will get in Hunter's ear and bag a berth in the Rumble. Some might not see that as a bad thing, but...it is. If Flair's "Last Match" proved anything, it's that wrestling fans don't need to see the 'Nature Boy' flopping around rings anymore.

Keep him away from San Antonio, please.

Further, it'd be cool if WWE mixed things up by gifting all 30 slots in each match to regulars on the roster. OK, maybe they can slip in a few part-timers here or there (Trish Stratus would get a pop), but let's not have anymore Dory Funk Jr-in-the-'96-Rumble scenarios.
