10 WWE Nightmares That Could Come True In 2023

3. Bray Wyatt’s Run Fizzles Out

This whole battle with his inner demons thing Bray Wyatt has going on is working - it's also letting others, like LA Knight, share some of the spotlight and develop his own character. That, ladies and gents, is the sign of a wrestling personality that should have staying power.

Saying that, we've been here before with Wyatt.

His 'Eater Of Worlds' and 'Fiend' gimmicks seemed to have similar endurance, but WWE eventually hampered them with shoddy booking. They pretty much ran out of ideas for both in the end, and that left a bad taste in the mouths of many considering Bray's relationship with the core audience.

What if he...fizzles out yet again in 2023? What if Triple H's creative team grows bored of this 'Uncle Howdy' stuff, hits the panic button on 'The Fiend' and brings that back just to shift some more merch? That'd be a catastrophe for Wyatt, not least 'cause he has the chance to do something different here.
