This writer will argue until he's blue in the face that Cody Rhodes losing to Roman Reigns back at WrestleMania 39 was the right call, but even he can see that this Bloodline stuff is dragging on and on. Internally, WWE bigwigs would point to money and TV metrics as proof it still has value.

Fair enough, but nothing lasts forever.

The Bloodline has been too epic a story to drag on and on before fizzling out. Sadly, many can foresee exactly that happening in 2024. After all, creative still has more matches between both Uso brothers to work with, and they've yet to pull the trigger on Solo Sikoa vs. Roman Reigns.

Booking a tight, satisfying finale would be preferable to watching one of the best wrestling narratives ever slowly die out. Leaping off the ship before it starts sinking is often smart, and that's what WWE's writers need to do heading into the new year.
