10 WWE No Mercy 2016 Predictions
4. Luke Harper Returns
Bray Wyatt could really use some allies at the moment. The whole “cult leader” schtick falls apart without his followers, and while he had Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan a few months ago, he has nobody today. Strowman marched off to Raw, Erick Rowan faces a four month layoff after tearing his rotator cuff, and The Wyatt Family patriarch is all alone.
Enter Luke Harper.
The talented big man has been out of action for several months, but finally made his return to company during a live show in Chile earlier this week. Harper is now medically cleared to compete again: there’s nothing preventing him from making an immediate return to Raw or SmackDown, and logic suggests he’ll head to the latter brand.
There’s a strong chance that Luke Harper will make his presence felt at No Mercy. Maybe he’ll turn on Wyatt and embark on another singles run, but for now, it’d be a safer bet to bring him back by Bray’s side. They’ll both benefit from each other’s presence, and this feels like the perfect opportunity to re-establish their alliance. A post-match assault from Luke Harper will freshen up the Wyatt/Orton rivalry, and allow WWE to sustain it for another month without falling to repetition.
