10 WWE Personalities Who Need To Retire (For Good)

10. Christian

christian This one is near and dear to my heart because I honestly don€™t think his time is up. When Christian returned to the WWE in 2009, I thought to myself €œChristian is home. Finally.€ Since then he has gone on to win the ECW championship, compete at a few more Wrestlemanias (and manage Edge at his last.) But Christian is a workhorse who has been wrestling in the big leagues since he came to the then-WWF in 1998. He has since won mostly every singles and tag title you can imagine. (WHC, IC, European, WWF Tag, World Tag (pre-Unification), Hardcore and Light Heavyweight belts.) He is incredible both in the ring and on the mic, he can get legitimate heat and garner impressive pops. He has a bit (loosely phrased) of the injury bug, however. He has been written out of storylines more than I care to remember or look up. This is why he is on the list, Christian€™s injuries take him out of opportunities to finally get a heavyweight championship run he deserves. A two-time World Heavyweight Champion, Christian has only held it for a combined reign of a little over a month. While I am still on board to see more of the 39 year old superstar, his body is just not allowing it. Give him ONE MORE RUN with the belt, some decent matches for a year or so (I could say more if his body holds up) and a big Mania moment or a Royal Rumble win. After that, suit him up for the Hall and give him a non-wrestling role on television or off.
