10 WWE PPVs That Could Replace Payback

10. Uncensored

From 1995 until 2000, World Championship Wrestling presented Uncensored. Each year, the pay-per-view became synonymous with being one of the worst shows of that 12 month period. The idea was simple, Uncensored would produce the wildest matches in WCW, but it usually ended up being a car crash of ideas and overkill. Even so, the name was an awesome one. If WWE wish to present a changing of the guard post-WrestleMania, they could do a lot worse than digging into the WCW archives to drag this event title out of retirement. Some long time fans would get a kick out of it, and the McMahon-led company would probably produce a better pay-per-view than WCW ever did with the name. There is one slight problem, the pay-per-view after the May 1 show is scheduled to Extreme Rules. There's a chance that Uncensored would clash with that, but WWE wouldn't necessarily need to make the show all about hardcore matches and weapons. Instead, it could be a new beginning, like the promotion has been let off the proverbial leash by Shane McMahon.
