However, prior to the event Hart was injured, and instead a pre Wrestlemania 14 match with Michaels and Austin was booked without a real issue between the two, and it went to a double-disqualification. Just prior to the match though, Bret Hart announced that his Hart Foundation was issuing an open challenge to a team of American wrestlers for the now famed "Calgary Stampede" In Your House, the winner of the match set as the team captain.
For a match with very little lead, the two veterans have a more than entertaining encounter.
