10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (Dec 20)

3. Favorite Royal Ruble Match And Winner

From @thetrueboss997: What is your favorite Royal Rumble and who is your favorite Royal Rumble winner?
This is a tough question, but I've reviewed every Rumble match elsewhere on the net, so I'm familiar with all of them. There are three Rumble matches that stand out as my favorites: 1992, 2001 and 2007. The 1992 Rumble with Ric Flair winning was so much fun. He was the third entrant in the ring and announcer Bobby Heenan kept on shouting how it wasn't "fair to Flair" all night. Then Flair found a way to last the whole match. He won by eliminating Sid Justice at the end of it because Hulk Hogan, who received some boos, was mad at Sid. Not only that, but Flair became the WWE Champion too. Awesome match and moment. In 2001, it was great because it was the peak of WWE's Attitude Era with Steve Austin back in action after missing a year. They did some hardcore elements in the match. There was some comedy with Drew Carey in there. Kane eliminated 11 guys, but he couldn't get rid of Austin, who ended up the winner thanks to the help of a chair. It was just a really well booked match that was awesome from start to finish. The 2007 Rumble had the greatest ending ever with The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels going back and forth for several minutes. It was a terrific tease to their WrestleMania match two years later. Prior to this, we hadn't seen them tangle in a ring for about nine years, so it felt really fresh and cool to see these legends go at it. Undertaker got the win and the World Title victory at WrestleMania, but Michaels got the WWE Title shot at WM as well as the main event. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXMgdbjvE1E As for favorite winner of them all, it's probably the Flair one. Since that's the only Rumble where the WWE Title was on the line it always sticks out to me as the best booked Rumble match and the one that really helped make the Rumble feel special
