10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (Jan 17)

2. Guys That WWE Should Sign If They Were Available

From @lastmanoftruth: Top 5 guys you sign if you are WWE if contracts aren't in the way?
That's a good question. My choices would mostly be Ring of Honor and TNA guys because I don't follow the indies that much. Some Japan guys could be picked too, but they are probably happy in New Japan Pro Wrestling right now, so it seems unlikely. A guy like Hideo Itami is an exception. The five guys that I'd pick are Adam Cole, Jay Lethal, Austin Aries, Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle just for that final WWE run that we all wish he could have. Adam Cole is a star in Ring of Honor that's only 25 years old. He's not a big guy since he weighs only about 210 pounds, but he's a great all around too. WWE has shown a willingness to bring in smaller guys. He's one of the best. I think WWE will sign him later this year. Jay Lethal comes to mind. He's been so good for so long. Why hasn't WWE brought him in yet? Not sure. Great in the ring, he's developed into a solid promo guy and he does the best Randy Savage impression too. Austin Aries is a no brainer to me. Maybe the best in-ring performer in TNA. He came close to being signed by WWE a few times, but it never happened. If it was up to me, he would be even though he's in his mid-30s. Samoa Joe is probably my favorite wrestler of the last decade that didn't work for WWE. He's in mid-30s so it's unlikely that he would be brought in by them. As a power wrestler that is also pretty quick and is skilled at submissions, he'd be a great fit. Kurt Angle back to WWE for one final run would be so fun. When it was announced that he was staying in TNA it made me sad. There's so much potential for him in WWE as a legend in his mid-40s that can still produce. It's a shame they couldn't come to terms. There are so many others too like Robert Roode or Bram in TNA. A return by Jeff Hardy would be very cool to see. A tag team like the Young Bucks would be a great signing as well.
