10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (Jan 17)

1. A Great Rumble Match With A Predictable Winner?

From @nalley_justin: If we assume that either Reigns or Bryan win the Rumble match, can it still be a great Rumble with a predictable winner?
Sure it can. It's happened in the past. People like to pretend that Rumble winners are hard to predict when in fact it's one of the easiest things to predict every year. What's great about the Rumble is the ability to tell multiple stories within a match, start new rivalries, end old rivalries and of course bring out surprise entrants. All of those things can still happen when there's a predictable winner in the Rumble match. The key is the flow of the match. Make sure good workers are in there early to make the others look better. That's why WWE has usually put the likes of Ziggler, Jericho or Punk at the start of the match. Then you build up the part of the match where a big name comes in, tosses out five dudes and go from there. Royal Rumble week is here. The outcome may be predictable because only two guys really have a shot to win, but it shouldn't hurt your enjoyment of the match if WWE books it the right way. Thanks for reading another week of the Q&A.
