10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (Aug 9)

Should Kevin Owens or Cesaro win their match at SummerSlam?

It's been a pretty quiet week for the WWE Universe, which is a good thing after the sudden death of Roddy Piper last week and the Hulk Hogan situation that rocked the wrestling world a few weeks ago. With SummerSlam and the NXT Takeover Brooklyn special coming up on August 22-23, WWE has to focus on those events and hopefully create some moments that fans will be talking about for a long time. Recently, there was a decision made by WWE to make SummerSlam a four hour event because they likely want to have eight or nine matches on the show and to give them significant time in the ring. There's definitely a concern that maybe WWE is overdoing it by adding an hour because there's already so much content in WWE. However, as fans of the product that have WWE Network, it shouldn't bother us because it costs the same price anyway. In the end, what it means is that there will be longer matches, which usually means better matches at WWE's second show of the year. The most comical thing that happened this week was WWE going with the "Submission Sorority" name for the Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch diva stable and then realizing that it was linked to porn. This should be a lesson for WWE that they really need to check things out online before they put them on television. Here is this week's Q&A based on people sending me questions on Twitter @johnreport and as you might expect, there were several questions about things related to SummerSlam including the first one wondering what WWE is doing with Sting right now.
