From @FriscoKTank: Who do you give the edge to in getting pushed to Del Rio's spot: Cesaro or the field??
Alberto Del Rio didn't really have a spot when he got fired earlier this week. He has been in the midcard for most of the year. They did push him into the main event of the Money in the Bank PPV although he looked so out of place in that match with bigger stars. As for Cesaro, he's been buried so deep that it's hard to know what level he's at right now. He's one of the best in-ring performers in the company yet somebody must have cooled on him. Even Heath Slater has won more matches on television in the last month. It's a damn shame. It will likely be a collective effort to replace Del Rio although it's unlikely that he was going to be a main evener again anyway.
