This is a great question because I'm a huge fan of the Damien Mizdow character and I think there's a lot of potential for him when he breaks free from Miz even though he's really just a comedy guy. The key thing is that people are responding to him, so that's what matters more than anything. The split should take place at the Royal Rumble or at least a major seed should be planted. Perhaps Miz will get tossed over the top to the floor while Mizdow is already in the ring. Miz will yell at him to eliminate himself, but instead Mizdow will say no and the crowd will cheer for him. They want to see him go against Miz, so that would be a great moment. Another Royal Rumble idea is to have Mizdow "accidentally" eliminate Miz. The scenario could see Miz holding somebody by the apron, then he tells Mizdow to do a clothesline, so the guy moves and then Miz goes over the top to the floor. The crowd could cheer while Mizdow can actually celebrate doing an elimination. After that, they could do another situation in a tag match where Mizdow goes against Miz's wishes and then they lose the tag titles because of it, but the crowd won't care because they're just happy Mizdow is on his own. There's a lot of potential for what they can do, but the Royal Rumble is probably the best time for it.
