3. What Would The Fallout Be If Daniel Bryan Were Released Due To Injury?
@MichaelFarrer92 asks what would happen if Daniel Bryan was released due to his injuries. Most immediately, I think WWE would be viewed as incredibly harsh for letting go of one of their hottest babyfaces of recent years; hopefully, if he finds himself unable to wrestle again, they'll keep him around as a company ambassador. In terms of the product, sadly, I'm not sure Bryan's absence would be felt very keenly at all. He's been absent for around nine months now; fans have quickly become accustomed to live without the former WWE Champion. That's not to say a return wouldn't go down very well (he'd instantly become the second biggest babyface on the roster), but were he never to return, it's hard to see WWE being that affected. A factor that would be greatly affected, however, would be Bryan's legacy. If he never wrestles again, he'll surely have his reputation galvanised for never suffering a late-career decline. Unless, of course, he decides to mimic Ric Flair and spend a few months in TNA.
