10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (July 12)

2. Booking Main Roster Shows Like NXT?

From @joe90101: Do you think the main roster needs to be booked like NXT in that guys appear every few weeks instead of every show?
They can't book the main roster like NXT because it's a completely different kind of show. Raw is three hours of live television while Smackdown is two hours of taped television, both of which are shown internationally. If they only booked John Cena once out of every four weeks like you might see on NXT then they would lose viewers significantly. The other reason is that WWE has monthly PPV style events, so they need the stars out there to promote those matches, which in turn leads to people watching WWE Network. Without those performers wrestling nearly every week they would significantly hurt viewership on those shows. How would they fill three hours every week with only a limited roster? It would be too hard. WWE is smart to book NXT the way they do, but there's no way that they could book main roster shows the same way because there are too many differences.
