From @JasonLastLives: Samoa Joe or Finn Balor to take Kevin Owens' NXT Title?
It will be Finn Balor at the WWE Japan live event on July 4. That's the right time to do it since Balor is loved in Japan, Owens is a full timer on the main roster and it would be such a unique thing to see a NXT Title change in Japan. If Hideo Itami they might have put him in the spot because he's a Japanese wrestling legend was in that #1 Contender match with Balor and Tyler Breeze. Balor is perfectly fine as a second option because of his history in Japan. The backstory going in is that Owens already beat Balor, but in that match Balor didn't go to his "demon" look. Next time they have a match he will, so they can say it was going to that dark place that helped Balor get to that next level. Samoa Joe wouldn't be a bad choice to win the NXT Title by any means. It's just that the Balor/Owens story is better for it. Showing that Japan event on WWE Network is a great idea and that NXT Title match will be outstanding just like the last Owens/Balor match.
