From @JDLang31: Would it be effective to pair Kevin Owens with Paul Heyman? Love the guy as a wrestler, but think he's average on the mic.
That's an interesting one because Heyman mentioned on the Austin podcast this week that it's tough for him to manage somebody else since people associate Heyman with Lesnar so much. He said his relationship with CM Punk worked because they were legit great friends. Maybe Owens could be that with Heyman, but it seems unlikely with Lesnar around. Owens is a great talker and doesn't need a mouthpiece. He has already delivered several great promos in his WWE career as well as in NXT. Prior to his WWE career, he was known for his promos in Ring of Honor and elsewhere. Some guys sound forced when they're out there selling a match. With him it comes off as believable every time and he's gong to keep proving that he is one of the best talkers in the business.
