2. NXT Stars That Will Be Main Eventers?
From @Subpopsplash: Out of the major indie guys that have been on NXT lately, who's most likely to be a serious main eventer?
I will assume the question is specifically about Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Neville, Finn Balor and Hideo Itami. They are the world travellers that WWE brought into the mix in the last few years and have made NXT so amazing to watch. Others deserve credit too, but those are the ones that stand out. Out of that group, the ones that stand out as future main eventers are Owens, Zayn and Balor. It's just a case of having the overall package. Owens is a gifted talker that can really go in the ring too. While he might be considered to be too heavy by some, he certainly makes it work. Zayn is as good as anybody in WWE at having great matches. His promos have improved a lot. He's just really easy to like. Balor is the complete package. He's got the amazing look when he does the body painting, then he's a really good talker when given a chance and he is capable of awesome matches too. It might be a bit tougher for Neville since he's got the short label to overcome. Itami's outstanding, but he's also not that big and being Japanese may hurt him just because the inability to speak English as a first language hurts him. He's getting better, though. If WWE can get three full time main eventers out of this group then that's awesome. It's what they need. Whether it happens, we don't know. Time will tell.
