From @AbirAChowdhury: Since Adam Rose's stock has risen after the ESPN documentary, what do you think would be the best way to give him a push?
The gimmick isn't working in its current state and on this week's Smackdown it appeared like he dumped the Rosebuds for good. They still have Rosa Mendes with him, so they should do something to have him get rid of her too. A good way to change things for him is to have him do a promo. Say that he tried to get noticed as Adam Rose, but it's not who he really is. Then they can have say he's Ray Leppan, a married father of two with a little boy that has to be fed with a tube because of a birth defect. They could show clips from the ESPN special about him and it would make him come across as a very sympathetic babyface that would be easy to root for. As an in-ring performer he's good and he can talk. It's just a matter of a gimmick. Sometimes the best gimmicks are those that are similar to what the person is like in real life, so let him show some of that. He doesn't have to receive a major push. They could even put him in a tag team. As long as it makes him more relevant it's a success. The sooner they change the gimmick the better.
