10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (May 17)

6. Are WWE PPV Style Events Special?

From @BiggleBA: WWE is doing 3 "PPV's" over the next 30 days. Do they still feel like special events to you?
Yes. The reason it's a yes is because these three hour events (plus NXT special if you want to count that) are wrestling heavy shows that will allow the talent to show what they can do in a ring. It's not like we're getting extra episodes of Raw full of 20 minute promos to start the show. They will be full of great matches. That's what we want, after all. As the consumer, we're paying $9.99 (or whatever your rate is in your country) for WWE Network and we want more new, fresh content. That's what they're giving us. The negative to having too many PPV-like events is that there isn't a great build up to some of these matches, so they might feel rushed at times. However, the good outweighs the bad if you're a fan of the wrestlers that put their bodies on the line to entertain us. There's a lot of talent in WWE right now. The opportunity to see them wrestle more should be welcome by all fans.
