From @KBW_KAGE: Do you think holding the NXT Title and holding the WWE Title have two different standards?
This was with regards to Neville when he asked if I thought Neville could be a WWE World Heavyweight Champion. My immediate reaction was no because of his size as well as his promos, which are pretty average at best. The biggest difference between them is the size of the roster. In NXT, there are maybe 20-30 guys that are even on the NXT show and maybe 5-10 of them are considered legitimate contenders to win the NXT Title. We could all see that the likes of Neville, Owens, Zayn, Itami and Balor were more experienced than most of the guys there. Their talent was rewarded with three of them winning the NXT Title. Seth Rollins was the first NXT Champion and now he's the WWE Champion. Kevin Owens might do that too. Sami Zayn could do it too. With Neville, it just feels like he's a level below them even though he's an exceptional in-ring performer too. We've also seen smaller guys like Daniel Bryan win the WWE Title, but that doesn't mean that it is going to happen that often. Whether he win the WWE Title or not, Neville should have a very good career for the next decade.
