10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (May 4)

7. Triple H Supporting Floyd Mayweather?

From @Steve_Cleary: Do you believe it's a conflict of interest for @TripleH / @WWE to promote @beaSTARalliance and hang out with @FloydMayweather?

For some backstory at this, the reason it's being asked is because Floyd Mayweather Jr. went to jail for hitting women. He has been accused of hitting more women and a lot of people believe the courts went light on him by making him only serve two months of jail time when it could have been a lot more. Triple H is a friend of Mayweather from when WWE used Mayweather for WrestleMania 24 in 2008 and publicly supports him all the time. He's gone to the ring with him for fights. He tweeted some stuff out before and after the fight on Saturday as well. ESPN's Michelle Beadle went on Twitter to say she won't support WWE because of Triple H endorsing Mayweather.

It's definitely a tricky situation because Mayweather was convicted for what he did while WWE is obviously in a spot where they don't support bullying or that type of behavior. Some might say that Mayweather did his time and if the courts say he's a free man then there's not much more that can be done.

Hunter is going to support his friend. Maybe he thinks Mayweather has changed and that he learned from his mistakes. That does happen too. It's easy to see why people get mad when Hunter goes out of his way to put over Floyd and it's up to the individual to decide if that makes them lose respect for Hunter or not.

I didn't watch the fight and after reading about it have no reason to check it out. Mayweather's fights bore me. I'm just not into boxing like I was 15-20 years ago.

My feeling is that just because you're a WWE fan doesn't mean you are supporting Mayweather. We support the wrestlers in WWE, not who Triple H is friends with.
