From @bkelley24: Do you think WWE would deliberately destroy what the women have built in NXT by putting the belt on a no talent reality 'star' like Eva Marie?
Like it or not, Eva Marie is a WWE employee just like the rest of the girls there. If she improves they will push her, but if not then they should hold her back and wait until she's ready. Part of the reason they have her on NXT right now is because she didn't work hard to get to the main roster initially, so they are bringing her up the right way now. WWE wants to use different kinds of performers and that means different looks and skills. The NXT girls will be fine even if Eva were to win the NXT Women's Title at some point because she's a heat magnet and will draw attention to the division. Plus, if you look at it from WWE's perspective, the heat that Eva gets is genuine. The crowd absolutely hates her, but if there's one thing we know about wrestling it's that it is so important for a performer to get a reaction. Listen to the people when she speaks. They react to her every time. If WWE are smart they will play into it that at every opportunity. That said, I don't see Eva necessarily winning the NXT Women's Title or being in NXT for that long. They want her to be a main roster star. By next spring or summer, she'll probably be main roster exclusive. I doubt the Full Sail fans will miss her.
