From @Blarney_K: What would you say to a recently lapsed fan?
It's not the fault of the talent - it's the booking. That's what I would tell the lapsed fan, who is somebody that watched the product and maybe gave up on it this year. I think the booking sucks on the main roster a lot of the time, but if you fast forward through things and watch the matches, there is quality there. I also think NXT is a lot of fun, so try following that if you appreciate a really good wrestling show every week. What sucks for the recently lapsed fan is that Raw is too long at three hours and Smackdown is at a point where it's not that important if you end up missing it. People don't want to commit three hours to a mediocre wrestling show. History has shown that even when there is poor booking, things do get better. Hang in there.
