5. What Can WWE Take From UFC And Boxing?

From @andyclemo: What aspects could WWE take from UFC and/or boxing to improve the current product? Raw especially feels flat and stale.
The press conferences are great. WWE should do them and broadcast them on WWE Network. Why not? It's a way to get people excited about major shows. Less scripted promos would be great. They are so fixated on them that I doubt it changes. Pushing women more is what WWE can and should do. Holly Holm beat Ronda Rousey in a PPV main event in a domed stadium with over 40,000 people that paid to see it. That should tell WWE that with the right kind of storylines they can get to that point too. Rousey isn't just a draw for UFC - she has become the top draw in the company. That's partly due to her success, but also the brilliant marketing that UFC has done for her. Long term, WWE can plan for women (get rid of the "divas" term) main eventing major WWE PPVs like UFC does, but it will take a few years for that to happen. The NXT show doesn't count.
