From @tmurph0789: I'm pumped about the tag tourney in NXT. No storylines (yet) just wrestling. Any chance something like this gets over on RAW?
My immediate thought is to say probably not. I don't think Vince McMahon likes tournaments that much, which could be why King of the Ring has been booked so poorly so many times. It just doesn't seem like something main roster would do. As I wrote in the NXT ups and downs this week, I love that NXT is doing it, but they need to tell us what the prize is to make us care more too. I assume it's a title shot although as a viewer we shouldn't be assuming. They should tell us what the prize is. It's a great tribute to Dusty Rhodes, which is another example of the NXT brand doing something right. I don't see it happening on the main roster, though. It's just not something Vince is likely to do right now.
