10 WWE Quick Fixes To Save Finn Bálor

3. Kill The King

In 2016, one of the company's brightest stars suffered a devastating injury that wiped him off the whiteboard just as he had entered the most creatively satisfying period of his WWE career. When he returned, a quick adjustment suddenly made him one of the organisation's most valuable players and left no choice but to put a major title around his chiselled waist.

A mirror of Finn Bálor, Neville shares many attributes with the former Universal Champion, with their journeys to their current position on the main roster taking numerous similar roads. Both gained pedigree working in Japan, both were dominant champions in NXT, and both would once have been considered far too unconventional to lead a brand. And yet Bálor was entrusted with kicking off the Universal Title's life in WWE, whilst Neville has worked out of his skin to at least keep the Cruiserweight Title credible from within the burning tire fire that is the 205-and-under division.

As radial as it might appear on the surface, a battle between 'The Demon King' and 'The King Of The Cruiserweights' might actually be a breath of fresh air for both. Neville's fabulous dominance on the microphone and in battle has left him King of a crumbling empire, whilst Finn remains rudderless each week on Monday Night Raw. Either as a feud, individual match, or high profile pay-per-view programme, the time is now for the strapping short-stacked stars to squabble.
