10 WWE Quick Fixes To Save Finn Bálor

2. All Shook Up

Rumours have abounded for weeks about the possibility of fresh talent movement following SummerSlam, possibly even resulting in a full-scale draft akin to the original split rather than the ramshackle 'Superstar shake-up' that did more harm than good in the post-WrestleMania slump.

Assuming he defeats Bray Wyatt, Finn would be primed to make the jump after a particularly dissatisfying spring and summer on Raw. His squash matches on the bloated three hour broadcast look lost, and he's yet to appear all that interested in promos leading to battles with Elias Samson, Curt Hawkins and others outside of the briefest of spells hanging around the top of the card in June. And really, why would he?

Drafted to the 'A-Show' from NXT, he defeated Roman Reigns en route to winning the Universal Title, leaving him little else to accomplish in the midcard without a belt to defend or an unbeaten streak to uphold. A trip to SmackDown Live!'s 'Land of Opportunity' offers Finn more than a different coloured set of ropes to hit the Coup De Grace from.

Fresh opponents, fresh feuds and fresh ideas in general should play to his strengths, and ensure he has pay-per-view programmes virtually every month. The baseline continues to be Jinder Mahal, and if he can earn pride of place on the brand, Finn can own it.
