OK, wow.
Firstly, there's a huge part of Jon Moxley that'd rather stick two middle fingers up at WWE than start wrestling there again. Mox couldn't wait to get out of the system even before AEW existed, and he's happy where he is. Second, what would be waiting for him anyway? A Shield reunion vs. Solo Sikoa's Bloodline?
Actually, that sounds like a fantastic idea! Dean Ambrose returning to help Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins fend off Solo's charges is fantasy booking stuff you'd expect to see in someone's WWE 2K24 save. It'd be a high profile spot for Deano straight off the bat; so, mind you, would becoming CM Punk Mk II and feuding with Drew 'I Hate People Who Left Here' McIntyre.
Moxley unchained in AEW can be awesome, but he's another who has so much unfinished biz on WWE's books. It'd be lovely to see him put things right and reap the benefits of Triple H's creative style. The fact Vince isn't there anymore must count for something.
