The most recent entry on this list, The Headbangers returned to WWE in late 2016 as part of the SmackDown Live! brand. But before discussing their latest return, let's cover the first time the duo reunited after the failed singles career of Headbanger Mosh.

After Thrasher sustained a legitimate knee injury in '99, Mosh was repackaged as Beaver Cleavage before again being remade as Chaz. Both of these characters fell flat and after Chaz was kayfabe arrested on a 1999 episode of Sunday Night Heat for domestic violence, Thrasher revealed GTV footage of Chaz's girlfriend faking the incident. This led to the Headbangers reunion that no one was clamoring for.

Most recently, Mosh and Thrasher provided a nice little throwback shortly after the 2016 WWE brand extension when The Headbangers resurfaced for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship tournament . Their return didn't last long, however. Following their elimination from the tournament, they only appeared on a couple more episodes before once again vanishing from WWE television.
