10 WWE Roster Trades That Must Happen In 2017

8. Dana Brooke To NXT

It just hasn’t worked out for Dana Brooke on the main roster. The former bodybuilder showed a lot of promise as Emma’s evil sidekick in NXT, and looked to continue down the same path when she was called-up earlier this year. Sadly, Emma was injured just a few days after Dana’s debut, and we haven’t seen the Aussie since.

Dana became Charlotte’s protege, and she has flopped in the role. Clumsy in the ring and uncomfortable with a more subservient character, Brooke looks like she’s struggling every time she’s on television. She has outlived her use as Charlotte’s hanger-on, and with all of the division’s major players occupied in feuds of their own, there’s little left for her to do at this point.

The logical choice is to trade Dana back to NXT and let her resume her smarmier, more confident persona. Dana has only been wrestling for little over two years, and it’s far too early to write her off at this point, so another 6-12 months in the industry’s best finishing school might be exactly what she needs. Let Matt Bloom, Shawn Michaels, and the rest of the Performance Center crew work on her weaknesses for an extended spell, and Brooke will come back ten times stronger.
