10 WWE Royal Rumble Records That Will Never Be Broken

9. Rumble Appearances

Recordholder: Kane, 20

During the 34 years that the Royal Rumble has taken place, hundreds of wrestlers have entered the ring. Many wrestlers have appeared multiple times, in some cases competing annually.

By far, the wrestler with the most appearances in the Rumble is Kane, who outpaces everyone by a mile. The next nearest superstar with any shot of surpassing him is Dolph Ziggler, who is second with 14 appearances. Randy Orton, Miz and Kofi Kingston are next with 13 each.

If Kane is ahead by a mile, why is this record listed so low? The problem is that Kane is all-but retired, having only competed in one match in the past three years. That match? The 2021 Rumble.

WWE lifers like Ziggler, Orton, Miz or Kofi could conceivably enter Rumbles every year for the next 5-10 years, though all of them are in their early 40s. It’s also conceivable that Kane could enter a couple more Rumbles for a surprise pop, further padding his lead.

It all comes down to how many years those four guys want to keep entering the Rumble and whether they can catch the Big Red Machine. We wouldn’t bet on it, but you never know.
