10 WWE Royal Rumble Records That Will Never Be Broken

8. Total Eliminations

Recordholder: Kane, 46

Appearing in the most Royal Rumbles comes with more advantages to holding other records as well. Case in point, the most eliminations. (Kane actually held another elimination-themed record, most tosses in a single Rumble, with 11 in 2001. That record stood for 13 years.)

Kane’s 46 eliminations across 20 Rumbles is only a narrow lead over the next closest wrestlers, but odds are none of the next three-closest will ever catch him: Undertaker (44), Shawn Michaels (41) and Steve Austin (36). All of them are retired. Next on the list is Braun Strowman (35), who had a legit chance, though having been released last year really could hamper that. He could come back and go on a run in the Rumble, but again, that’s a big “if” (and there’s the possibility Kane enters 1-2 more Rumbles and tosses a couple dudes).

The active WWE superstar with the eliminations is Roman Reigns, who clocks in with 32. The problem with him is that he also will be missing this and future Rumbles along the way because he either will be defending a title or challenging for one.
