10 WWE Royal Rumble Records That Will Never Be Broken
3. Compete Multiple Times In A Rumble
Recordholder: Mick Foley, 3 entries, 1998
Even after all the cuts WWE has made during the past two years, their roster has more enough depth between Raw, SmackDown and (if necessary) NXT 2.0 to fill out a 30-person Royal Rumble.
But in 1998, fans were treated to the Three Faces of Foley, as Mankind, Dude Love and Cactus Jack all entered the Rumble. He didn’t win, so that also means that Mick Foley also holds a record for being eliminated from the same Rumble three times. But we’ll just count that as one record.
The only other wrestler to compete multiple times in a Rumble match on the same night is Nia Jax, who in 2019 lost the women’s Rumble, then beat up R-Truth to take his spot in the men’s match. Don’t expect to see that again either.
