10 WWE Salaries You Won't Believe

9. Sasha Banks ~ $150,000

The Miz Money
WWE

Considering she was one of the key components of the (ahem) 'Divas' Revolution' last year, you'd think Sasha Banks would be amongst the top earning ladies on the roster. And it's not as if management aren't aware of her talents; it was Stephanie McMahon herself who both invented and revolutionised women's wrestling in one go, with Banks at the forefront of her plans!

Of course, for all it promised the women of wrestling, Steph's upheaval did nothing for female pay parity within the company. Almost like it was nothing beyond media bluster designed to aggrandise Steph and help the company capitalise on what they surely saw as a 'gender equality fad'.

That Sasha was on Zack Ryder money last year is clearly a joke, but one I think we all could have reasonably expected given WWE's draconian attitude to female performers. That she was earning less than Becky Lynch, Emma, and Eve Mendes despite being one of the most popular competitors in her division is scandalous, especially given how often she puts her life on the line with her rather risky ring-work. Sasha should have been laughing all the way to the, well, the Banks.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
