10 WWE Salaries You Won't Believe

8. Goldust ~ $200,000

You'd think a man so obsessed with gold that he is named for the precious metal wouldn't yearn for riches in mere monetary form. Especially at this stage in his career, when he must be rolling in the stuff.

As it happens, tenure has only increased The Bizarre One's earnings. Goldust joined WWE in 1995, a time when few members of the roster were placed on contracts with guaranteed downsides, instead being a promised a minimum number of dates and expected to make up the numbers from house show draws. Over twenty years later, the part-time veteran now rakes in the duckets in the region of $200,000 per annum - this despite having no prominent role on televised output.

Like The Big Show and The Undertaker, it is Goldust's longevity which has seen his earnings gradually increase over the years. Unlike those two, however, his almost complete irrelevance since 1997 has precluded his takings from being even higher.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
