Triple H Just Got OUTED For Having ZERO Taste... (WWE News)

A former WWE creative team member "couldn't believe [his] ears" when Triple H said this.

St. Anger round his neck.

Yes, yes this is a lighthearted news item, but a funny one. Former WWE creative team member Mason Madden has revealed during a Reddit AMA session that he was shocked and/or stunned when Triple H revealed that St. Anger is his favourite Metallica album of all time. Hunter probably even thinks 'Invisible Kid' has some of the best lyrics James Hetfield ever came up with, the maniac.

Madden was backstage for an NXT TakeOver special and watching a video hype package for Keith Lee vs. Karrion Kross (which would place this at TakeOver XXX on 22 August 2020) when he noticed that the band's 'Frantic' track was used as background music.

That's when Mason turned to Trips and said: "Really, Hunter? St. Anger?". Firing back in a heartbeat, 'The Game' said: "What? It's their best album". Madden admits that he couldn't believe what he'd just heard. Did Triple H honestly just allege that the much-maligned therapy session for a fracturing, wounded band from 2003 was their magnum opus?

He did.

Obviously, taste is subjective, but you won't find many Metallica fans out there claiming that St. Anger tops their best albums list - classics like Ride The Lightning, Master Of Puppets, ...And Justice For All, the self-titled 'Black Album' and even debut album Kill 'Em All would rank way higher than Anger for most.

Hell, even the controversial Load and Reload double punch earn more retrospective plaudits than St. Anger. Not that Lulu abomination with Lou Reed though. Never Lulu.

Clearly, this is the biggest tragedy on WWE's road to WrestleMania 42. Cancel the whole event right now.
