NXT has always treated its women's division with a bit more care than the main roster division. It starts with the name of the division and its championship. Theyre not Divas, theyre women and theyre some of the most talented women in the world. In early 2014, Paige and Emma stood at the top of that division, equally talented and burning with desire to prove themselves. At NXT Arrival, their rivalry was settled when Paige locked in a new submission move and Emma was forced to tap out. The P.T.O. is a modified Scorpion Cross Lock, an homage and tribute to the most destructive, underrated woman in WWEs history, Bull Nakano. Nakano famously used that move in her match against Alundra Blayze at SummerSlam 1992, which many cite as the greatest womens match in the WWEs history. By taking Nakanos move and adapting it to make it her own, Paige is inviting comparisons to one of the greatest of all time. So far it seems, Paige is living up to this standard. She debuted on the main roster the night after WrestleMania and defeated AJ Lee for the Divas Championship with her Paige Turner maneuver. From there, she went on a tear through the division and not only defeated the majority of the roster, she humiliated them with the P.T.O. Its an unquestionably painful move, and is just another example of how the Divas division is quickly catching up with the men in terms of innovation and skill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH-huuE941E
