10 WWE Slammy Award Winners That Must Happen

9. #SuplexCity (Hashtag Of The Year)

Much like the previous category, there's really not much competition for the winner of the 'Hashtag Of The Year' Slammy Award. The other choices include #AxelMania, in reference to Curtis Axel's short-lived parody of Hulk Hogan, and #GiveDivasAChance, which was doing the rounds before the 'female revolution' angle was kick started in the Summer. Completing the nominees are #SaveTheTables (The New Day's feud with The Dudley Boyz), and #RKOOUTTANOWHERE, which accompanied the - admittedly hilarious - mock meme videos of Randy Orton delivering the RKO to various non-wrestlers. None of those other picks can compare to Brock Lesnar, 'Suplex City, bitch' line at WrestleMania 31. After hitting a number of German Suplexes and other moves on a beleaguered Roman Reigns, Lesnar delivered the line. Fans quickly caught on, and a range of merchandise was even created bearing the slogan. For that very reason, it was the most successful hashtag, and should pick up the Slammy in this instance without much of a struggle. Brock doesn't even need to be there to accept it, Heyman would suffice.
