By all accounts, this debut should have been the dawning of a new era for WWE's ailing tag team division, yet the rug was pulled from under Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson's feet merely a few months after their arrival.

Exploding through the live crowd to take out one of the company's stand-out teams, The Usos, the former Bullet Club members felt legit and the excitement surrounding the newest members of WWE was palpable.

So, how did Vince McMahon manage to screw this one up?

Well, things started out well enough, with the duo eventually rekindling their alliance with AJ Styles and aiding the Phenomenal One in his matches against both Roman Reigns and John Cena. They were billed as The Club. Then, before they even had the chance to really put a stamp on the roster, the team was disbanded after Styles was drafted to SmackDown Live in the 2016 brand split.

It was the beginning of the end of their initial buzz and the pair were never able to string a decent run of performances together, often going missing on television for months.

Though re-established as The O.C. towards the end of their WWE run, aligning once more with AJ Styles, Gallows and Anderson still played goons until their April 2020 releases.

Here lies another victim of WWE's complete lack of interest in their own tag team division.
