During his main-event ascent Daniel Bryan was as bold as they came. He constantly defied the Authoritys claims that he was infrior, he stood up for what he believed in and challenged the status quo when doing so, and in several cases, he literally got in the Authoritys face, chanting Yes while staring down Triple H and Stephanie McMahon from only a few feet away. And lets not forget all the moments of badassery and self-sacrifice he demonstrated in his matches during this rivalry, either. This is virtually identical to the life of Elijah, a prophet that kept defying the kings of his day. He challenged the zeitgeist of his time, which included the worship of old god Baal. The kings and other people in power during Elijahs time threatened, demonized, and punished him whenever he challenged them, but he stayed loyal to his cause, even if he was promised an end to his suffering. Being one of the boldest of the prophets, Elijah never backed down or questioned his convictions, just like Daniel Bryan with his Yes Movement. Bryans boldness was rewarded with ever growing popularity, being in the main event of WrestleMania, and winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the highest achievement possible. Elijahs boldness was rewarded with ascending into Heaven via a whirlwind. Whichever fate is better is open to debate and personal preference.
