10 WWE Stars Who Could Do A CM Punk And Try MMA

7. Big Show

If UFC are interested in bringing in new viewers with professional wrestlers as attraction fighters, there€™s no greater attraction than the world€™s largest athlete, The Big Show. A man the size of Big Show is going to tower over nearly anyone UFC present him with, and just like CM Punk it€™s the sort of announcement that would make even the most die-hard mixed martial arts hater reconsider their opinions. This wouldn€™t be the first time that Big Show dabbled in more €œlegitimate€ forms of fighting, as he clashed with boxing superstar Floyd €œMoney€ Mayweather at 2008€™s WrestleMania XXIV. In the run up to the marquee match, Mayweather broke Show€™s nose during a confrontation on Raw, and won the bout at WrestleMania, but only after the use of brass knuckles. One thing that might turn UFC off signing Big Show is his history with SoBe Entertainment International, who sued Big Show after he returned to WWE without ever taking part in one boxing match for the promotion. SoBe advanced Big Show $1,000,000 for housing and related business expense, but Show began performing for WWE without ever competing for SoBe. The biggest impediment keeping Big Show from the Octagon is his age, as he€™s currently forty-two. That isn€™t necessarily a huge problem, but Show suffered from Acromegaly for a good portion of his life and it€™s possible this could be a roadblock in any UFC deal.
