6. Hideo Itami

WWE made waves throughout the international community when they signed Japanese superstar KENTA over the summer, fulfilling his dreams and the dreams of many fans. Renamed Hideo Itami he debuted at NXT Takeover: Fatal Four Way, and has been kicking his way through the NXT locker room since. Much like Daniel Bryan, Hideo Itami has some of the most beautiful looking kicks in the business, and as he told the WWE Universe not long after he debuted My style is kick. Hes only been in NXT a few short months, but hes already one of the most intense superstars to step foot in a WWE ring. Wrestling and mixed martial arts go hand in hand much closer in Japan than they do in the West, and shoot boxing is very popular, which is a hybrid style that allows kicks, punches, knees, elbows, throws, as well as standing submissions. Many wrestlers crossover between wrestling, shoot boxing and MMA; and Itami has had two fights before, with a 1-1 record. Hideo Itami perhaps doesnt quite have the star power right now to make a splash in the UFC world, and unlike Brock Lesnar or CM Punk, WWE own the name most people now know him under. In a few years though, WWE may be the perfect launching platform for even greater success in the Octagon.
