10 WWE Stars From 2005 Who'd Be Awesome On Today's Roster
6. Rob Conway
As much as Tyler Breeze getting an opportunity on the main roster is wonderful, imagine grizzled veteran Rob Conway beating down Dolph Ziggler, on this coming Thursday's Smackdown and leaving the ring to the strains of his "Look At Me" theme song. There's something in that idea that should've absolutely been considered. Tyler Breeze is a great wrestler and as a character a pet project of Triple H. However, he does have a literal babyface and thus doesn't really look like the kind of guy who can assault an ex-world champion and put the heat on him in a way that *really* gets over the idea that the ex-champ's in peril. At this point, Rob Conway's an 18-year veteran, and totally has more of the hardened, evil look required to really get over that a babyface is in trouble and that his supposed love interest is doing the horizontal mambo with a dirtbag. If you're going to do the oldest storyline in the "classic pro wrestling storyline" book, at least do it right.
